almond milk.

I've heard that almond milk does good for your body. It is known as one of the popular substitute of milk since long ago. And it turns out that it is very easy to make it at home. Here's what you need:

  • Raw almonds
  • Water
  • Pitted dates or honey
  • A blender
  • Strainer
And how to make it?
  1. Soak almonds in cool water for 8 hours, or you can do it overnight
  2. Drain out the soaking liquid and clean the soaked almonds with clean water. They'll get really plump.
  3. Put almonds into a blender and put water. The comparison is 1:4. So if you have 1 cup of almonds, then you need 4 cups of water. If you want to add sweet flavour, add 1 tablespoon of honey, or add one pitted date (or two, it's really up to you).
  4. Blend  for about 1 minute until you have a creamy texture.
  5. Separate the almond milk and the almond pulp. Drain the almond milk using a stainer and a cloth. Slowly pour the almond milk on top of the cloth through the strainer.
  6. Drain out every last bit that you can get by squeezing the almond pulp inside the cloth.
  7. And there you have it. Delicious and creamy almond milk.
  8. Store in a glass jar and it will last for 3 to 5 days.

So what to do with the almond pulp? YOu can make almond meal, almond flour, or almond sprinkle for your smoothie or morning yoghurt. See? That's how easy it is to make almond milk!

nutella brownies.

This is probably the easiest recipe i've ever tried to make. Even if you're not suceeded, it will still taste good.

So the ingredients are:

  • 1 1/4 cup Nutella
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
And how you make it?
  1. Grease a baking pan (preferably 9x9) and preheat at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until well combined. or until it reaches sticky consistency
  3. Pour into baking pan with a spatula
  4. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
  5. Please be careful not to overbake, otherwise the brownies will dry out
Note to self (and to you of course):
bake it halfway done. Because when it cools of, it will have a gooey texture and it's gonna be oh-so-damn-freakin'-delish! Happy baking, everyone!
